TEC will always be MMSUG to me, I really enjoy the smaller, more intimate feel of MMSUG/DEC/TEC and hope it stays that way. Was hoping for more PG participation this year, but budget cuts and bad news are good reasons for skipping a year. Hats off to Andreas and Mark from the ILM team for keeping optimistic while facing a tough crowd.

Great post!

Pam, what a great writeup. I read this last night at the airport as I was traveling home from the conference. I couldn't agree more. Every year, I learn how to get a little bit more out of the conference than the year before. There is no substitution for the personal access that you have to some of the best and brightest of the technology world. This level of access just does not exist at the larger conferences due to the shear number of people trying to get time with these resources... most of the time I can't even find the people. That is never an issue at TEC (although it will always be DEC to me). Resources are always available and willing to help... and more than likely sitting at the table next to you.

Quest did a great job with the confernece this year. I am glad that they didn't attempt to make any major restructuring changes to the format the Netpro had proven to be very successful. There were a lot of people from Quest at the conference working very hard to make the conference successful. Every one of them has my sincere gratitude for a very enjoyable and productive week.

I made some great connections this year, and I am sure that I will make even more next year. I can't wait... I am hoping for TEC 2010 ARUBA... but we'll see how that goes.

Thanks for the writeup. I am glad to see that others find this conference as valuable as I do.
