Information Cards

Information Cards are a visual metaphor for passing identity data between a user, the place that wants to consume user data (Relying Party), and sometimes the place that can authoritatively provide the data (Identity Provider).   Information Cards use an active client called a Selector to broker the information between all these parties securely, using established XML standards such as WS-Trust and WS-Security, and using cryptography that the user never has to know about.
